Flavours for the Cuban market
The flavours Cuban buyers ask for most are orange, mango, pineapple (piña), passion fruit (maracuyá), cola, lemon and strawberry. Many Cuban distributors prefer to build their own brand rather than resell an international one. You send the design; we handle film printing, filling, cartoning and export paperwork. How an order for Cuba is prepared
- Import channel. Cuban state import companies buy directly. Private MSMEs import through an authorised state foreign-trade agency; tell us which agency will appear on the documents so the pro-forma invoice is issued correctly from the start.
- Samples and specifications. We courier sample sachets of the flavours you select together with product specifications and ingredient lists in English and Spanish.
- Labelling and registration. Cuban regulations require Spanish-language labels for prepackaged food and a sanitary registration for imported products. We supply the composition, nutritional and shelf-life data your import agency needs for the file, and print Spanish labels or sachets to your approved layout. Please confirm the current requirements with your agency before production.
- Pro-forma and payment. We quote FOB Istanbul/Mersin or CIF Mariel/Havana in EUR. Payment for Cuba is agreed case by case – letter of credit or advance payment – and we invoice in EUR, not USD.
- Production and loading. Stock flavours in our own brands ship from available stock or the next production run; private label ships after artwork approval and film printing. Exact lead times are confirmed with the quotation. Powder drinks can share a container with our wafers, compound chocolate and candy.
- Shipping. There is no direct line from Turkey to Cuba; cargo moves with one transshipment in the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. Transit time depends on the routing and is confirmed by the forwarder at booking. We book with forwarders who ship to Cuba regularly, or deliver to your nominated forwarder.

For private label the minimum is set per project. We send a container loading plan with every quotation.
Can a Cuban mipyme buy directly from you?
Yes, with the import handled through the authorised state foreign-trade agency of your choice. We issue the pro-forma invoice and shipping documents to that agency and coordinate the paperwork with you.
Do you send samples to Cuba?
Yes. Courier cost is usually charged to the buyer and deducted from the first order. If courier delivery to Cuba is slow, we can send samples to a partner address in a third country.
Can the sachets be printed in Spanish?
Yes. Our brand sachets are available with Spanish labelling, and private label sachets are printed to your Spanish artwork, including the ingredient and nutritional declarations your registration file requires.
